Consultation: ‘Ordinary people leading ordinary lives’
For years, people with a learning disability have been telling people who commission and provide services for them that they want the same quality of life as anyone else. They have the same dreams and wishes as other people and they want the same chance as anyone else of being able to live these dreams. 'Ordinary People leading Ordinary Lives’ is the title of a new plan to improve life for adults with a learning disability. It has been put together by the Learning Disability Partnership Board for Hampshire, which has listened to and talked with service users, carers, voluntary sector and public sector organisations.
