The Romsey Opportunity Group

This has been running for 37 years in the Test Valley area. They carry the Ofsted Care component and abide by the P.L.A Policies and Procedures for running a Creche.

All Special Needs children under five are welcome, as are their under five siblings.  They have a Parent’s room with a Parents Co-Ordinator (Lyn Bird).

The children have a Co-Ordinator (Mavis Watts) and a one to one Keyworker.  They have approximately 12 Volunteer helpers, many who have specialist training to offer, for example, Makaton, British Sign Language. Pecs (for autistic children), child behaviour, C.B, Speech & Language, and so on.  Some volunteers have undergone training in London.

They are open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings between 10 am and 12 (school term time only)
